About
I'm a filmmaker, editor, writer and graphic designer based in Hertfordshire — and I've been making films for 24 years, which is almost as long as I can remember.
I spent my youth making films for charities and not-for-profits in and around Hertfordshire — Herts County Council, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and their partners. Films for scientists. Films for mental health charities. Films for disability charities. I cut my teeth on films that told stories about people.
Then came comedy. What started as films made for fun with some mates snowballed into writing, producing and editing my own sitcom on Channel 4, which ran for two seasons. During that time I also made commercials, short comedy films and several TV pilots.
When Covid put filming on hold, I kept creating — writing storylines and characters for a game studio, articles for a crypto company, social content for a charity. I rebranded three companies and helped a London comedy club launch a new event. And I started designing websites, too. So all was not lost.
Last year I got back behind the camera with new gear and started rolling again.
I love making films for people, about people. So let me make a film for you.
I make films under the name Scatter Brain Media: music videos, documentaries and brand work, mostly around London and Hertfordshire. Everything on this site was made by me: shot, cut and delivered by the same pair of hands.
